What we migrate

  • Windows and Linux servers and virtual machines
  • Line-of-business and web applications
  • Databases and file shares
  • Backups, archives, and long-term storage

How a cloud migration works

  1. Assess. We inventory your servers, applications, dependencies, and data, and estimate AWS costs before you commit.
  2. Build the landing zone. AWS accounts, networking, IAM, and security baselines set up correctly from the start.
  3. Migrate in waves. Lower-risk systems move first, so the process is proven before critical systems move.
  4. Cut over with rollback. Each cutover is rehearsed and scheduled, with a tested way back.
  5. Optimize. After the move we right-size resources and tune costs and performance.

Choosing the right approach

Not every system should move the same way. For each one we recommend the simplest approach that meets your goals:

  • Rehost (lift-and-shift): move as-is, fastest path off aging hardware.
  • Replatform: small changes such as moving a database to a managed service.
  • Containerize: package applications to run on Kubernetes or other container services.

After the migration

You get documentation, runbooks, and full ownership of everything in your AWS account. Optional ongoing support covers monitoring, patching, backups, and cost reviews.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a cloud migration take?

Small environments can move in a few weeks. Larger ones run in waves over a few months. The assessment gives you a realistic timeline and cost estimate up front.

Will there be downtime?

Most systems can be cut over in a short scheduled window. We rehearse each cutover and keep a rollback plan ready.

Can we keep some systems on-premises?

Yes. Hybrid setups are common, and we connect on-premises and AWS securely so they work as one network.

How do you keep AWS costs under control?

We estimate costs before migrating, right-size after the move, and set up budgets and alerts so there are no surprise bills.
